Who you are buying from

What you are buying

Printed hardcover picture books, made to order. Each copy is printed and bound after you pay, by our print partner in the United States, and shipped directly to the address you give at checkout. Prices are in US dollars and shown before shipping. Shipping is stated on the checkout page before you pay.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your order is confirmed when Stripe confirms payment; you will receive a receipt by email from Stripe.

Printing and delivery

Printing usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Standard mail then takes roughly 4 to 8 business days within the United States. These are estimates, not promises; carriers and holidays can add time. We currently ship to United States addresses only.

Returns and reprints

Because every copy is printed for you, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a binding fault, email a photo to [email protected] within 30 days of delivery and we will print and ship a replacement at no cost. Details are on the returns page.

Cancellations

Orders go to print quickly. If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible; if the job has not yet been sent to print we will refund in full. Once printing has started we cannot cancel.

Sales tax

Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is shown at checkout before you pay.

Copyright

The Quiet Line, its characters, illustrations and text are the property of Snow Digital One LLC. Buying a book gives you the book, not a licence to reproduce it.

Age and safety

These are books for reading aloud to children roughly from birth to five. They are books, not toys, and a grown-up should be present.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Changes

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. The terms in force when you ordered are the ones that apply to that order.
